PORTFOLIO > VISUAL BIO

Due to inherited dyslexia, grade school was an unpleasant experience. My father didn’t get the help he needed growing up and didn’t want the same to happen to me. I was put into a special education program as well as speech and visual therapy. Also my mother enrolled me in many after school art classes that allowed me to discover my talent. In 1995 while in the 8th grade I took my first photography class at the Barnsdall Junior Art Center. There I learned to expose B&W film, process and print it myself before the coming of the digital explosion.
