VISUAL BIO
Seeking independence outside the family home, I attended college at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. During this time I was totally absorbed in my courses and welcomed my professors' intellectual challenges. More than ever, I enjoyed pushing myself to excel and not letting my dyslexia limit me.
Part of what drew me to SAIC is its museum. I took the class the History of the Idea of Copying where each student chose a work from the Art Institute of Chicago collection to replicate. This photograph is of my copy and me with the original painting in the museum gallery.
